Varies: $500 to $3,900
Initial Award Criteria
Based on exceptional financial need as determined by the FAFSA
Expected Family Contribution (EFC) from the FAFSA must be below $5,500
Limited funds available: Award priority is provided by students who completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by Feb. 1. New students must also be admitted to UNLV by Feb. 1
Can be offered by students who are less than full time on a prorated value
Automatic consideration until funds expire
First baccalaureate degree
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
Renewal
Up to 130 credit hours of consecutive enrollment
May be less than full time enrollment status
Limited funds are available with a valid FAFSA: Award priority is provided to previous award recipients who completed the FAFSA by Feb. 1 who have met the award parameters
