How to Apply

Some scholarships do not require a student to complete the FAFSA application, and some may have specific criteria and need-based components. "Need-based" means in order to be considered for the scholarship, you will also need to have a completed FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office.

Students are notified of financial aid awards for the upcoming school year as early as mid-March and no later than mid-April. In general, if you are already admitted to UNLV, have completed your FAFSA, and have listed UNLV as receiving your FAFSA results, you should be notified of your award within two to three weeks from UNLV.
